Gifts

Smite (Rank 2) – Smite (Prime): As an action the zealot may channel his deities wrath into an attack. Before making the attack roll the zealot spends mana to gain a bonus on the roll at a 1:1 ratio; in order to be a smite he must spend at least one mana, but he cannot spend more than his rank. If the attack succeeds, the zealot deals bonus damage equal to his rank+CHA as magical damage. The zealot may spend extra mana for a few specific effects: 2 mana to deal elemental damage or 3 mana to cause a debuff. Smite may be applied to melee, ranged or throwing weapons. Zealots of Light-aligned deities deal double damage against lower plane creatures.

Divine Weaponry (lvl 1) – When wielding their deity’s favored weapon, a Zealot is treated as having a divine focus for divine spells (whether these are gained through his mantle or elsewhere). The weapon is treated as magical and you are considered to have Mastery with it (d8 for damage). While holding the weapon you may cast the cantrips Shroud, Glow and either Blessing or Condemn (cannot be changed), without spending mana. You may spend one extra mana on Smite attempts using the favored weapon of your god.
